Roots in the Past, a Breakthrough in the Present

A love for dogs is in my blood. I grew up in a family where a dog was always the center of the universe. I vividly recall my mother's and grandmother's stories from the "pre-kibble" era—a time of driving to slaughterhouses and sourcing meat wherever they could. It was an era when feeding was instinctive and natural. But then came the age of kibble, and with it, the illusion of simplicity.

When I founded my own kennel in 2008 and fell for the majestic Kangal Shepherd Dog, I didn't hesitate to choose the best kibble on the market. My first female, Luna, received only premium food, boosted by expensive vet-recommended supplements. And yet, she was fading. I watched helplessly as she lost her appetite, her coat thinned, and her energy vanished. Every vet visit ended with the same advice: try another brand of kibble. My questions about a natural diet were dismissed out of hand.

The turning point came when, on the verge of despair, I discovered the magic of BARF. With the rest of my family skeptical, I started mixing meat, bones, and vegetables. The result was stunning. Within months, the frail dog with no zest for life transformed into a proud, multi-champion and a healthy mother. That was the moment I saw, with my own eyes, the incredible power hidden within real, raw food.

From Hands-On Breeding to In-Depth Knowledge

One success story wasn't enough. I needed to know why. Why BARF worked and how to perfect it. My pack was growing, and with it, my living laboratory. I learned from every dog, from international breeders, and I devoured every book I could find.

A crucial insight came from my physiotherapy studies at Charles University. I dove deep into the workings of the human body and kept encountering the same principle: nutrition is the cornerstone of performance, recovery, and overall health. The principles that apply to an elite athlete apply, with slight adjustments, to a dog.

My path also led me abroad, where I worked as a physiotherapist. All these experiences—from breeding, from sports science, and from formal education—merged into a single, cohesive understanding. I learned to see the body as a complex system where every piece of the puzzle must fit perfectly.

The Greatest Challenge and a Crucial Discovery

Returning to the Czech Republic marked the beginning of a new, pivotal chapter. My partner, Sebastiaan, and I welcomed a French Bulldog, a Cane Corso, and eventually fell completely for the American Bully breed. And with them came challenges we had never even dreamed of. In our pack, we faced almost everything:

• Degenerative heart disease.
• Allergies and sensitive digestion that resisted conventional treatments.
• Orthopedic issues and difficult post-operative recoveries.
• Kidney problems.

Even with the best BARF protocols, we were hitting a wall. And that's when we had our lightbulb moment. Whether you feed the best meat, premium kibble, or high-quality canned food, in today's world, SOMETHING is ALWAYS missing. The soil is depleted of minerals, factory-farmed animals lack the varied diet of wild prey. Modern feeding lacks certain specific micronutrients, enzymes, and probiotic cultures that are indispensable for a dog's perfect health.

We started searching the market for supplements to fill this gap. We were appalled. We found products packed with fillers, synthetic vitamins with poor bioavailability, and ineffective formulas. It became crystal clear: if we wanted the best for our dogs, we had to create it ourselves.
